Cook the dal in a pan with enough water.
Grind lavang, cinnamom stick, onion, tomato, chilli ginger garlic paste, spinach to form a thick puree
Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera, hing and spinach puree.
Saute it for sometime and then add cooked dal, salt and lemon juice.
Cook for sometime and dal palak is ready to serve with roti, paratha or rice.
